Let’s switch to first person: I am an artist, dramaturg, researcher, teacher, and organizer in performing arts. I work as the dance programmer at STUK House for Dance, Image & Sound, Leuven (BE). I received my doctoral degree in Theatre and Performance at The Graduate Center, City University of New York in 2022. I wrote a dissertation to analyze the dramaturgy of objects and nature in contemporary choreography through a feminist lens, which was awarded by the Dissertation Year Fellowship of The Graduate Center and enabled a visiting scholarship in Ghent University.
My research areas include dramaturgy, expanded contemporary dance, experimental theater, objects and materiality, immersive performance technologies, ecocriticism, biopolitics and necropolitics, feminism and sexuality, large language models, and continental philosophy.
I have taught university seminars, master classes, and workshops on dance and theatre theory/history, dramaturgy, improvised movement and writing, public speech, and spoken poetry.
Besides dramaturging stage productions, I have organized international symposia, conferences, public talks, and screenings in both academic and arts institutions across Turkiye, the U.S., the Netherlands, Germany, and *finally* Belgium.

I passionately dislike LinkedIn, and Facebook is exclusive for moms, aunts, and asking for free stuff.
